He's also afraid of being left alone in a ditch, and at often times he is scared of the dark. He fears loosing/corrupting his own soul.After many years of reaping, helping souls, and fixing people, Cal came across the soul of a little girl. She reminded him of his daughter from oh so long ago, and so he decided to take great care of her. She was a lost soul, meaning that she had no particular place in the afterlife, and needed to either let go of her human past, or destroy what was holding her back. Cal helped her along the journey for many years, but she finally had to leave him on July 12, 2002. He was so broken afterwards that he stopped paying too much attention to souls and jobs. Eventually, he wandered to the Hiems Mansion and decided to check it out.
Goals: He wanted a home, a place to belong to and some reason to keep on reaping and not loose grip of the hope from his heart.
Personality: When you first meet Cal, he will treat you with kindness and respect. He is a gentleman in his own way, being thoughtful of woman more than anybody else. He is chivalrous, and can be a big brother figure at times. If you are good friends with him, then he will loosen up and just show his true self to you, which is a laid-back, chill, and funny guy. If you bother or annoy him though, he would become quiet and try to avoid you. If he really hates you, he will look down at you in spite and try to hurt you in minor ways.
History: Calimer actually used to be a common business man in the Victorian era. He was wealthy, had a beautiful family, and yet was very humble. He was also fascinated with weaponry and so he apprenticed as a blacksmith for a time when he was younger. When he was around 29 though, he met a tragic death after getting mixed up with the wrong people. When his soul was about to be taken by a reaper, that reaper found that it was stronger than most other souls and had the capacity to become part of a reaper, and so it trained Calimer to reap souls and walks amongst the afterlife.
AbilitiesPowers:
|being able to nudge feeling a certain way|. For example, if some one is happy, he could make them even happier, or a bit upset. But this power is limited, and only changes the person's feelings ever so slightly with his calm and controlling voice. He can also feel what a soul is feeling at that time. |Spirit Calling|. He could call on minor spirits to assist him in his tasks, although if he is battling, this will take more of his strength since he is summoning stronger souls. |soul transfer| if a soul is weak, or ready to leave its body, he can move it either into a new body, or to the afterlife. Most of the time, he can control it, but if he gets roused up, scared, or nervous then they get out of control.
